Postcard of the Jaipur State, dated 1949, with a 1/2A postmark and cancellation stamp 'JAIPUR STATE'. The reverse has handwritten correspondence in Devanagari script, addressed to Ramkumar Surajbaksh Ghiya, a general merchants commission agent for automotive parts and gas installations, with mention of his office in Jhalawar and his branch in Sambhar Lake. The printed text at the top of the reverse indicates 'Ramkumar Surajbaksh Ghiya, GENERAL MERCHANTS COMMISSION AGENTS'.
