Description

Promotional advertisement for the metric system in India, dated 1965, illustrated with a chart showing the conversion between metric units and acres. The text states that since October 1965, only metric measurements are legal for land transactions. On the reverse, two 15 rupee stamps with cancellation 'SHRI CHITRA' and 'SHRI CHITRA' are visible, as well as handwritten notes and transfer stamps.
