Black and white view of a castle with ornate architecture, surrounded by trees. The reverse indicates the publisher 'Éditions Charentaises d'A. Gilburb', an address in Argenteuil, and a French postage stamp of 8 francs depicting Marseille. The postmark is from Jarnac, dated April 24, 1940.
