Sepia-toned view of the entrance to the port of Aiguillon-sur-Mer, with numerous sail and row boats moored or floating on the calm water. Printed text at the bottom: '49. - L'AIGUILLON-sur-MER (Vendée). — The Port Entrance'. On the reverse, an 8 franc blue stamp, Nantes cancellation of 20-6-1949, handwritten address to Monsieur Jean Paffenebeur in Orléans, and mention of 'Edition Gaby'.
