View of the Porte Beucheresse in Laval, an ancient fortified gate transformed into a commercial building with a bakery-patisserie on the ground floor. The reverse has a handwritten address to Gibraville, a 40-centime postage stamp, and a postmark from Laval dated May 11, 1941. The publisher is 'Edition des Nouvelles Galeries - Laval'.
