Description

Commemorative monument in Le Bourget, dated 1789, with relief inscription: 'They died to defend the fatherland, the sword of France broken in their hands, will be renewed by their descendants'. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated 7/11/1915, addressed to Madame Leseneyre in Paris, with a postmark and a cancellation stamp of 'OUP' (Opening).
