Black and white view of a very crowded beach with many swimmers in the water and on the sand, waves in the foreground. In the distance, buildings and wooded hills are visible. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 15-8-1966, sent from Seine-Maritime, with a 30-centime stamp and a cancellation mark 'RETOUR A TAPPEL'.
