Colored view of Le Havre's pier, with a crowd of promenaders in period attire, some holding parasols. On the reverse, handwritten address to Monsieur Jorgance in Calvados, with postmark and stamp cancellation from Livarot (Calvados) dated 7 September 1909. Green 5-franc stamp of the French Republic, canceled in Livarot.
