Postcard dated September 17, 1844, sent from Cincinnati to Philadelphia, with a 2-cent postage stamp and a Cincinnati cancellation mark. The reverse shows a Philadelphia reception stamp dated September 18, 1844, as well as a handwritten inscription 'INVENTED 1844' and a mention 'BLACKISH GAGGY CANECL'.
