Description

American aerial envelope dated 5 April 1944, sent from the Fleet Post Office in San Francisco (U.S. Navy) to Cincinnati, Ohio. It features a 5-cent stamp and a cancellation 'U.S. NAVY' with the inscription 'AIR MAIL'. The reverse shows a military censorship mark and a handwritten address to Mrs. John Kissman.
