Description

American air mail envelope dated November 1943, franked with a 6-cent air mail stamp depicting an airplane, addressed to Mr. John Hull in Wilmington, Delaware. The sender's address is R.F.C. Ralph A. Paglia, Weapon's Co., 7th Marines, Fleet P.O., San Francisco, Cal. A 'Passed by Naval Officer' stamp is visible. The reverse indicates 'VIA AIR MAIL' and the stamp is canceled in San Francisco.
