Aerial postcard dated October 27, 1945, sent from the post office of the fleet of the U.S.S. Kingman (APB-47) in San Francisco, California. It features a 6-cent U.S. airmail stamp with an airplane and a circular U.S. Navy postmark. The reverse is addressed to Mr. & Mrs. C.C. Maxwell in Rochester, New York, with a large red Nagasaki, Japan postmark indicating its passage through this port after the war.
