Description

Commemorative postcard of the inauguration of the Stockholm-Tel-Aviv flight by SAS, dated April 12, 1954, franked with two Swedish stamps (20 and 40 crowns) and bearing a postmark from Stockholm. Intended for Mr. G. Litzman in Tel-Aviv, it features the inscription 'AIR MAIL PAR AVION' and the SAS logo, along with a special stamp 'INAUGURATION FLIGHT SK 851 SCANDINAVIAN AIRLINES SYSTEM'.
