Postcard in two views: the first shows the Place du Marché au Beurre with timber-framed buildings and a period car, the second presents the ruins of a building after its destruction. On the reverse, a handwritten address to Madame Édouard Niéport in Suresnes, with an 8-franc stamp and a postmark from Mesnil-sur-Ouanne dated 12 September 1950.
