View of the Lourdes basilica perched on a rocky promontory, with pilgrims in period attire sitting on benches in front of a cave. On the reverse, a handwritten letter in French addressed to 'Madame du Boischemier' at Château de Malhavie, with a 10-centime French postage stamp and a Toulouse obliteration mark dated 9 September 1909.
