The printed text relates the history of the thermal baths, mentioning their existence before the invasion of Julius Caesar and the inscription found behind the New Bath. The reverse is blank, without correspondence or stamp, but bears the inscription 'All foreign countries do not accept correspondence on the front (Contact the Post Office).'
