Description

View of the apse of the New Church of Fourvière in Lyon, built between 1872 and 1884 after the promise to build a new sanctuary to the Virgin. The reverse features handwritten text addressed to Mesdames Mane and Elisa Flojac in Pézenas, with the inscription 'Bons Souvenirs Lyon' signed by Angèle Groy. A 25-centime postage stamp and a 'LYON-GARONNE' postmark are visible.
