View of the ancient abbey of Marmoutier, with its imposing Gothic entrance gate and its annex buildings, surrounded by greenery. The reverse has a handwritten address to Paris, a red 10-centime postage stamp dated 1920, and a postmark from Tours. The printed text on the reverse indicates that correspondence cannot be sent from the front.
