Carved wooden statue of the Virgin with Child crowned, placed on a richly decorated altar with candles and mosaics. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated 6-5-1956 sent from Marseille, addressed to Madame Pelitiez in Bienne, mentioning the blessing of the statue. Postal stamp of 12 francs 'La Rhône Valmonte (Côtes)' and a postmark from the basilica.
