Description

Black and white view of the Mer de Glace glacier, surrounded by snow-capped mountains, with textured details visible on the surface of the glacier. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Jean Tobrecelle in Morbach, as well as two French stamps from 1909 (20c and 10c) and a postmark from Chamonix dated August 17, 1909.
