View of Mont Saint-Michel from the north-east coast, with the imposing silhouette of the abbey and buildings perched on the island. Two fishermen are visible in the water in the foreground. On the reverse, a handwritten note dated July 27, 1905, addressed to Dietsch in Paris, accompanied by a French postage stamp from 1905 and a cancellation from Mont-Saint-Michel.
