Description

Statue depicting a dog holding a man in its jaws, located in the gardens of the City Hall in Montargis. The printed text recounts the legend of the dog of Montargis, who supposedly killed his master after being accused of killing another man. The reverse has a handwritten address to 'Mme Glasser, Chârost, Groyes' and a 15-centime postage stamp of the French Republic, canceled in 'Groyes' in August.
