Description

Postcard showing the ruins of the keep of the castle-fort of Montbazon, built in the 10th century by the Duke of Anjou. The printed text mentions that in 1866, the priest Foulques Néra had a 3-meter statue of the Child Jesus erected on an angle of the keep. The reverse features handwritten text dated July 27, 1933, addressed to Mr. S. Dupont in Montbazon, with mentions of the castle and the statue.
