Description

View of the Porte de Linas in Montlhéry, a fortified gate dating from 1015, rebuilt in 1589 and restored under Napoleon's Consulate. The reverse indicates the publisher Paul Alliage, a handwritten address to Calais, and a green 5-centime stamp canceled in Montlhéry on May 15, 1909.
