Description

Postcard showing the ruins of the keep of Montlhéry Castle, with a cylindrical tower and remnants of stone walls. The printed text indicates its construction in 1599 by Thibault File-Etoupes and its dismantling in 1591. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Madame and Monsieur Marg, 49 rue du Champs-Elysées, Le Pecq, with a 30-centime French Republic stamp dated 1945 and a postal mark from Reims.
