Description

View of the ruins of the Tower of the Saint-Louis Chapel of the Castle in Montlhéry, dated 1881. The printed text specifies that the Main Tower is hexagonal, dating from the 13th century, and that the first two floors are vaulted. The reverse side bears a handwritten address to Madame M. Gunn in Neuvy-Saint-Sépulcre, a handwritten date of Saturday, May 26, 1912, a green 5-centime postage stamp, and a cancellation from Sainte-Adresse.
