View of the Gate of Craffe in Nancy, a fortified gate with two conical towers and a central ornate portal with a cross. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. Captain Grasset in Paris, with a 10-centime postage stamp and a Parisian cancellation dated July 11.
