Engraved illustration showing Napoleon I shaking the hand of Jean-Rémy Moët in the cellars, surrounded by soldiers and workers holding candlesticks. On the reverse, printed text indicating that Mr. Jean-Rémy Moët, mayor of Épernay, received a visit from Napoleon on July 27, 1807. The publisher is Dreeger, Épernay Print, with mention of the house's founding in 1743.
