On the back, a handwritten letter dated April 20, 1942, sent from Nice to Madame Bégette in Saint-Germain-lès-Ville, mentioning a visit to the cathedral and a morning walk. Two 1 franc stamps and one 20 centime stamp, canceled in Nice.
