Aerial view of Jardin Albert Ier in Nice, with its paths, palm trees and central monument, bordered by classical-style hotels. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 24 September 1929, sent from Nice to Grenoble, with a blue 40 centimes stamp and cancellation 'ALPER'.
