Description

Black and white view of the facade of the Roman Theatre in Orange, a Roman monument 103 meters long and 36 meters high, built by the descendants of Roman colonists sent to Orange under Julius Caesar. The reverse contains a historical description, an address to Mademoiselle Clulas Audia at La Demi-Lune, a 30-cent postage stamp, and a postmark from Narbonne dated July 17, 1948.
