View of Place du Martrol in Orléans, with the equestrian statue of Joan of Arc by Foyatier, inaugurated on 8 May 1855, surrounded by Haussmann-style buildings and pedestrians. On the reverse, the card is addressed to Mme M. Faurié in Louroux, with handwritten text 'Souvenir d'Orléans' and two 25-centime French Republic stamps canceled in Orléans on 17 July 1921.
