View of the Gare de l'Est in Paris, with its imposing building and ornate façade featuring a large pediment. Pedestrians and vehicles, including an old car, are passing in front of the station. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated Wednesday, November 8, 1918, addressed to Adrienne, expresses the sender's anticipation of news and well-wishes from the sender, Octave.
