View of the City Hall of Paris, 4th arrondissement, reconstructed after the Commune, with ornate architecture and pedestrians on the square. Reverse: handwritten letter dated 28 March 1919, addressed to 'Dear Father and Sisters', signed 'G. Panagès', with a 'CARTE POSTALE' stamp and a note 'A. Lissue'.
