View of the Petit Palais in Paris in 1916, with a horse-drawn carriage in the foreground. Green 5-centime stamp 'République Française' cancelled in Paris on 31 October 1916. Back: handwritten address to Mademoiselle Henriette Vezin in Parchamps (Charente), with a postal mark from Champs-sur-Marne dated 15 August 1916 and a 'Correspondance' note in cursive handwriting.
