View of the lake surrounded by vegetated cliffs in the Buttes-Chaumont park in Paris, with a rowboat and a larger boat in the center. The reverse has a handwritten correspondence addressed to Madame Pivkaux in Portiers, with a 20 centime postage stamp and a Paris 95 cancellation dated 12-5-06.
