Description

View of the Madeleine temple in Paris, built in 1764 under Louis XV by Constant d'Ivry, transformed into a Roman temple in 1806 and returned to worship in 1842. The pediment represents the Last Judgment. Reverse: postcard published by E. Le Fèrty, printed in Paris, with space for correspondence and address.
