Description

View of Paris City Hall, with inscription indicating the laying of the first stone in 1593, its destruction in 1871, and its reconstruction from 1876 to 1884 by architects Ballu and Deperthes in the Renaissance style. On the reverse, two 5-centime stamps of the French Republic, a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Lugand in Bordeaux, and a mention of the publisher.
