View of the inner courtyard of the Carnavalet Museum in Paris, with its facades adorned with statues and a central monument. On the reverse, a postcard sent to 'Mrs. Eugène Jourdan with her parents in St-Opportune les marais', with a 14-centime postmark dated 1905 and a handwritten inscription 'Sincere friendship, dear friend J. Guillaud'.
