View of the neoclassical façade of the Madeleine basilica in Paris, with its Ionic columns and sculpted pediment, under a clear sky. On the reverse, a green 5-centime stamp of the French Republic, postmark from Paris (7th arrondissement) dated May 1st, 1907, and handwritten address to Anna Colomès in Madrid, with a handwritten note 'Abi rega ta carta' (open your letter).
