View of the monumental staircase of the Paris Opera, with its columns, balustrades, and statues. The reverse has handwritten text dated May 24, 1905, sent from Carney (Puy-de-Dôme) to S. Poirson, with a 10-centime postage stamp and a circular cancellation.
