Colorized view of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Paris-Montmartre, with the monumental staircase below. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated Sunday, November 2, 1914, sent from Paris, where the sender describes his visit to the sanctuary, his ascent of the 320 steps, and his devotion before the vault of the Holy Face. The recipient's address is written at the bottom right.
