Description

Lively view of Place de la Concorde in Paris, with a dense crowd and period vehicles. Printed text recalls the history of the site, originally Place Louis XV and later Place de la Révolution, where Louis XVI was beheaded on January 21, 1793. Reverse: postcard sent to Miss Marin, École des Filles, Dourdières-les-Bourdelins (Cher), with a red 1913 stamp and postmarks from D'Angers and Bourdelins.
