Colored view of Place de la République in Paris, with the statue of the Republic in the center, surrounded by buildings and pedestrians. The printed text indicates the former name of the location and mentions the Déjazet theatre and the Bonvalet restaurant. On the reverse, a handwritten address to Bordeaux and a green 15-centime postmark canceled in Toulouse on December 14, 1898.
