View of Place de la République in Paris, centered on the statue of the Republic by Morice, 31 meters tall, erected in 1883. The image shows the square animated by pedestrians and trams. The reverse has a handwritten correspondence dated June 25, 1919, addressed to Madame Delaunay in Vicqry, with a signature from J. Polette.
