Black and white view of a three-level Roman aqueduct crossing a river, with vegetated banks. At the bottom left, signature 'Cimy'. The reverse has handwritten text dated 1943, mentioning the area around Alès (Gard) and a stay at the Hôtel du Luxembourg.
