Postcard sent from Calcutta to Bombay, dated August 9, 1927, franked with an Indian anniversary stamp (« ONE ANNA ») and bearing a postmark from Bombay. The reverse shows two post office stamps from Bombay (« BOMBAY NO. 2 » and « ALBAGETI ») as well as the handwritten address of the recipient in Bombay. The handwriting is in Indian cursive script, with notes in English.
