Description

Postcard showing the Castle of Suscinio on the Presqu'île de Rhuys, with printed text describing its construction around 1250 by Jean le Roux, its capture by Charles de Blois in 1324, and its recapture by Jean de Montfort in 1364. Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated 18-8-24 from Taher Julien to Maurice J. Glasser in Carcassonne, with a 15-centime postmark and partial cancellation.
