Description

Stone commemorative monument with a sculpture of an angel holding a laurel branch, located in a wooded park. Printed text at the bottom right indicates 'Garnier Garden Monument Erected in Honor of the Children of Provins Who Died for the Fatherland (1870-71)'. Reverse: handwritten text dated August 22, 1918, addressed to Monsieur Manno in Bergères-sous-Asnières, with a postal stamp and cancellation mark.
