View of Royat Castle, Le Paradis, perched on a green hill with vineyards below. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 1909, sent by a woman to her friends, describing the mountainous landscape as wonderful and the air pleasant. The stamp and cancellation are visible at the bottom right.
